We recommend checking your drain line every 3–6 months. If you have the WiFi Sensor Switch, remote alerts and dashboard status can help flag issues, but regular HVAC maintenance is still required. The Standard Sensor Switch does not send remote alerts; it provides local overflow protection and shutdown at high water.
