Is the sensor broken if there is no light?

It depends on configuration.

  • With 24V power (Standard or WiFi), no light usually means no power, so check wiring and connections.
  • On a WiFi model running on battery only, no light after startup can be normal while the sensor is still monitoring.

The sensor light guide covers the WiFi battery-only behavior.

  • Confirm the Sensor is seated on the manifold's bayonet mount.
  • Walk through the power and LED checks in the Sensor setup guide.
