- The backup battery is rated for approximately 2 years under normal use when used as backup alongside 24V.
- A low battery warning can appear on the dashboard. If the sensor is wired to 24V with a backup battery, a dead backup alone does not necessarily mean the HVAC will shut off. Verify 24V is connected.
- To replace the battery, remove the Sensor from the bayonet mount, open the battery compartment, and swap in the specified battery type.
