- 24V HVAC power (recommended): continuous operation, consistent LED visibility, and no reliance on battery life for primary power.
- Battery-only: supported, but LED visibility is limited and power-saving behavior may turn the light off after startup while monitoring continues. A fully depleted battery may trigger HVAC shutdown as a safety measure. Use 24V to avoid interruptions from battery depletion.
